In the heart of Indiana, amidst the sprawling landscapes of the family farm, Hoosier Canines started on its journey in the spring of 2016. Founded by brothers Jay and Aaron Miller, our mission was born from a deep passion for dogs and a commitment to enhancing the breed.
With extensive research and guidance from great mentors, we took our first steps into the world of Goldendoodles and, shortly after, started raising Bernedoodles as well. This decision expanded our family and set us on a path to becoming one of the most reputable Bernedoodle breeders in Indiana.
Our Journey and Growth
As the years have pasted both Jay & Aaron have married and moved to their own home. We continue to work together with some of the parents staying with Aaron, most of them at Jay’s home, and between litters we like to take the parents back home to the 16 acre family farm!
In the recent years our brother Martin has been getting involved as well with taking care of most of the vet visits and designing the website! The main location is in Shipshewana, IN at Jay’s home.
